Registration is now open for Airborne’s Middle School Summer Camp set for June 11-13 at Carroll Oakland Gym. Cost is $65 and is open to players age 11 through 14. You can click on the link below to register. Registration is limited to the first 20 players.
It’s finally here! This Saturday and Sunday are the SRVA Regional Tournaments. We’ll be playing at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. Below are the court assignments and first match times for our teams. If you have a smartphone (Android, iPhone, or Blackberry) you can download the AES Express App from your app store and have the schedule and results live on your phone. The app is $1.99. Teams are encouraged to support the other Airborne teams throughout the tournament. Be sure to cheer on our teams whenever you get the chance!!

It’s our last scrimmage day of the season! We’ll close out just the way we started, with Airborne only scrimmages. Plan to be at Wilson Central at 8am and we’ll finish by noon.

So, it’s Spring Break and your still in town?!? Then is is for you! We’ve set up some open gym time this week. Come on out and work on your serve, or spike, or pass, or set, or whatever part of your game needs attention. We’ll run some 3 on 3 and queen of the court as well. All 3 days are at Walter J Baird and are open to all members of all teams of Airborne! If your in town, grab your gear and come on out!

Congratulations to Airborne’s 16-1 team. They are the 16 Club division Champions at last weekends Ethos Volleyball Tournament in Nashville. Way to go girls!

In case you haven’t heard, Friday’s games have been canceled. Changes have been made and all games will now be played on Saturday, beginning at 8am. Be sure to check with your coaches for when they want you at the gym. Remember, it’s free admission this weekend, so bring out a huge crowd to cheer on our Airborne teams!!
Pool play assignments and locations have been made for this weekends tournament in Nashville. Please see below for locations for your team as well as the time of their first match (play or ref). Admission is free this weekend, so bring out all of your family and friends!! Doors open 1 hour prior to the start of the first match. Food is allowed, but please keep it out of the gym (it’s to be kept in the hallways).

Pool Play resumes on Saturday morning at 9am at the same location for all teams. Bracket play begins between noon and 1pm (approx, depending on other matches). For the 14 and 15 Club Divisions, a location change might be necessary, depending on your placement.

Great job in our first Chattanooga Tournament of the season! In the 14 Club Division, 14-2 & 14-3 finished tied for 7th Place and 14-1 finished 2nd in the Division. In the 15 Club Division our 15-1 team finished 7th place as well. And in the 16 Club division both the 16-1 and 16-2 teams finished in a tie for 7th place.
Up next, it’s scrimmage weekend, as 14-2 & 14-3 will be hosting on Saturday at Wilson Central, 14-1 & 15-1 will be traveling to St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville on Saturday and 16-1 & 16-2 will be playing in Nashville on Sunday afternoon. Practice times for the non scrimmage days will be added to the calendar by Tuesday.
